Weller Push Trailers
The "GOAT" push trailer was originally designed for the outdoors-man.
It's compact, easy to transport and provides a means to cover large expanses of land. The Weller Push Trailer is quite, and economical to operate.
The Weller Push Trailer is small and easily fits in the trunk of a car, back of a SUV, or the bed of a truck.
The Weller Push Trailer is portable, easy to attach and disconnect, simple to maintain, and service.
More information can be found on GOAT page.
The "PRONGHORN" push trailerwas designed for both commuting and traveling long distances.
Conservatively, many of our clients travel more than 50 miles on a 2 liter tank. That is, on average, 100 miles per gallon of gas!
The "Pronghorn" is specifically designed to handle rolling hills, streets and light gravel roads.
The "Pronghorn" been tested for many hundreds of miles.
The trailer can easily reach speeds over 26 miles per hour with a 200 Lb. rider and climb most rolling hills without assistance.
More information can be found on the PRONGHORN page.
How does the trailer affect handling?
Once the Weller Push Trailer is properly attached, the bike and trailer is integrated as one.
Do you have to license the trailer?
This would be an individual state question. In Idaho, yes! To ride in the back country, you'll need a sticker that is renewable each year. This gives you access to thousands of miles of Forest Service roads and state trails.
How much weight can you carry on the trailer itself?
This is determined by the rack weight limitations of the manufacturer. All Weller Push Trailers come with an adjustable bike rack post as an added bonus! The trailer is not designed to carry an extra rider. DO NOT ATTEMPT! DO NOT ATTACH CHILD SEATS!
Why does the trailer hook to the seat post not the rear wheel?
With the seat post, the trailer can be integrated with the frame of the bike. The trailer no longer is something you pull but it is an extension of your bike, giving you positive control.
